Departing Rainbow Beach, your adventure begins with a 13 kilometre drive along the beach to the picturesque Double Island Point. Enjoy the stunning views of the coloured sand cliffs and Fraser Island from the point - a truly beautiful sight. Then the real fun begins - all geared up and briefed on safety and technique, you'll hit the water for some exploring. Spread over 1.5 to 2 hours, you'll explore the vibrant waters making friends with some of the locals. These waters are home to around 400 dolphins, so your chances of seeing some of the playful creatures is very high.
Other marine life that is often encountered includes large schools of fish, sea turtles, whales (during migration season) and sea birds to name a few. A great way to spend half your day and explore the gorgeous blue waters of the Australian east coast. Led by an experienced tour guide you will blown away with the range of animal encounters you can experience and the sheer beauty of the region.
“ Amazing day on Rainbow Beach, the 4WD along the beach was something I’ve never experienced before but would definitely do it again! Breathtaking views and the colour and sand rocks were beautiful. Just before getting into our kayaks we went onto one of the huge rocks overlooking the water and spotted pods of dolphins, whales and even a turtle! On our day it was too windy to go kayaking where the dolphins usually are so had to stay nearer to the shore, unfortunately, this meant we didn’t get to see many fish or turtles but still had a good day out on the ocean! Would recommend!
It was nice, but not as amazing as expected. First of all, because we did not see any dolphins. I know it's a matter of luck but their ad is very focused on 'kayaking with dolphins'... So, I was very excited and ended up disappointed, especially because they have not offered a second day for free or half price.

“There are hundreds of dolphins living in the area, so your chances of coming into contact with these playful creatures is really high (90%)!!”
